I am going to take a hire car to London soon and have decided that I am going to treat the children and take them in to Hamleys. I know that they will love it as, of course, they love toy shops. Being in such a massive one will be such fantastic fun for them. I have only been myself once and that was just a few years ago and it was great. I loved all of the demonstrations that they had there, the massive range of toys and most of all the theme to the shop. It was the time when the first Narnia film came out and so the stairways were painted up to look like ‘The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe’. There was snow and fur coats, a wardrobe and the characters were painted on the wall. I just hope that they will have a theme this time that the children will understand and relate to.

I have just taken a look at the website and there is no clue, but I am sure it will be enchanting and they will have a wonderful time regardless. I just hope that they do not expect me to buy me anything from there as I think just the travelling will be rather expensive without buying gifts as well! I expect my husband will buy them a small gift as his father always bought him balloons from there whenever he was in London and I am sure he will do the same thing for them.

The Tower of London is a very scary and unusual place to visit unless prisons really are your cup of tea. The biggest thing about the Tower of London is the fact that it was used to imprison and execute criminals and others that you would simply not wish to run into out of prison in those time periods. Now it is a major tourist attraction drawing in thousands of people who are interested in the gory an history of London that is darker and more grim. Of course this is a much sought location by the younger crowds that are a little more desensitized by having much more violence in their lives than their ancestors did.

Of course, the Tower of London is not always what you would expect, especially if you think of 900 years of torture and death as such a beautiful structure. This is certainly a unique visit to make your way to whenever you are in the London area. The best way to get there is by taking advantage of a car rental option that is available to you. Car rentals are great to search for online because you can get deals that are simply not advertised. You can get a great low cost car rental for an entire week to seek out the strange in London or do something completely different if you want for a great low weekly rate. This is always an option for those adventurers who love these types of attractions!
